Through this project we serve our community through not only beautification, but also providing civil service opportunities for our youth and civic groups. This gives community members ownership and investment in main street and our community as well as draws the eyes to an attractive streetscape that will entice community members, shoppers and tourists to our main street. Groups which are currently participating in this project are the Gold Beach Rotary, ASCEND, Gold Beach 4H, GBHS Civics Class and the Riley Creek Football team.

If you are interested in having a group adopt-your-plot, or you are a group interested in adopting a plot, please contact project leads Deb Treinen ( or our Business Outreach & Community Coordinator(

Gold Beach Main Street was awarded money from Gold Beach Urban Renewal Agency to design and place benches along main street. Gold Beach Main Street is still currently working on this project, and there are now memorial fish plaques being added to the benches.  Learn more here.

Every year Gold Beach Main Street hosts a Christmas decorating contest to light up our town.  Local businesses and residences are invited to participate, and votes will be counted to determine winners.  2020 Small Town Christmas information coming soon!  More information here.
